AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on Thursday it has signed a partnership with AX infrastructure specialist Acryl focused on cooperation in the AI infrastructure business.
The companies plan to provide AX environments for companies and public institutions that require large-scale GPU infrastructure by combining their technologies and business capabilities. They agreed to identify joint business models tailored to customer demand by adding Acryl's AI development and infrastructure optimisation technology to MegazoneCloud's capabilities in building AI and cloud infrastructure.
MegazoneCloud supplies and builds NVIDIA-based GPU servers and cloud infrastructure. It also provides system design and cost-efficiency plans suited to customer environments. Acryl links its solutions, including the AI full-stack platform Jonathan and the AI infrastructure operation and optimisation platform GPUBASE, to handle work ranging from model development to GPU resource management.
The companies will first conduct performance tests in large-scale GPU environments. Based on the results, they plan to push ahead in stages with joint projects such as supplying AX environments to companies and institutions.
MegazoneCloud CEO Dong-hoon Yeom (염동훈) said, "As AI adoption expands, demand for AI infrastructure is also rising rapidly, so stable and efficient GPU infrastructure operation capabilities are emerging as a key competitive edge." He said, "Based on MegazoneCloud's know-how in building AI and cloud infrastructure and Acryl's GPU optimisation technology, we will identify industry-specific services and expand global business opportunities based on partnerships at home and abroad."
