Musinsa Standard shows co-growth with platform private label and seller brands
Musinsa\'s private label Musinsa Standard has been shown, based on consumer behaviour data, to boost sales of brands sold on its platform. A research team from Dongguk University and Chonnam National University analysed individual consumers\' basket and purchase histories and released the results on June 18. The study found that higher cumulative Musinsa Standard purchases increased the likelihood and spending share of subsequent purchases from seller brands, and that private-label items were often bought together with basic and SPA-style seller brands.

Financial Services Commission launches structural reform drive for inclusive finance, overhauls credit scoring and debt adjustment
South Korea\'s financial authorities will pursue inclusive finance as a system-wide structural reform task rather than a one-off livelihood support measure. The Financial Services Commission said it will take a comprehensive look beyond expanding policy-backed finance for ordinary people, including credit assessment, incentives for financial companies and the debt adjustment system. The commission held an on-site debate in Seoul chaired by FSC Chairman Lee Eok-won (이억원). Participants discussed finance\'s public role and a more inclusive redesign of the financial industry.

Tving hack also leaks \'digital resident number\', raising fears of secondary harm
A data breach at South Korean streaming platform Tving has expanded fears of secondary harm after linked information (CI) was included among leaked items. An unidentified hacker allegedly gained unauthorised access to Tving’s user database and sent customer data outside the company. Authorities including the Ministry of Science and ICT, KISA and the Personal Information Protection Commission have launched investigations, while experts warn CI can enable identity theft when combined with other personal details.
