Tving reports member personal data leak, suspected hacker theft
South Korean online video service Tving said it confirmed that personal data of users was leaked after unauthorised access to a database storing user information. It said an unidentified hacker accessed the database and sent personal information files outside. Leaked items include IDs, names, dates of birth, gender, CI and DI identifiers, mobile numbers, emails, refund account numbers and passwords. The scale of the leak was not disclosed.

XRP futures volume surges to $4 billion as short liquidations spike during brief rebound
XRP is seeing concentrated liquidations of short positions during a recent rebound, raising the chance it will post its first monthly gain this year. Over the past 24 hours, $5.33 million of $7.77 million in liquidations came from shorts, with short liquidations accounting for 68.5 percent, CoinGlass data showed. XRP futures volume rose to $4 billion, led by Binance. XRP is trading at $1.39, up about 5.4 percent on the week.

South Korea FSC files complaint against 11 over alleged 100 billion won stock manipulation
South Korea\'s Financial Services Commission said its Securities and Futures Commission filed a complaint with prosecutors against 11 people and 4 related companies linked to an organised stock manipulation case. The suspects include a wealthy operator of a general hospital and a large private academy, asset management executives, a financial company branch manager and a minority shareholder activist. Authorities said they targeted DI Dongil, deployed more than 100 billion won and later attempted to expand to another stock before the conduct was halted by account payment suspension and searches.
