Woori Investment Securities steps up support for 34 young caregivers
Woori Investment Securities said on March 27 it held a launch ceremony on March 25 at its Yeouido headquarters for the second phase of its “With Woori Wealth Project”, a social contribution programme aimed at helping vulnerable young people build independence and manage asset formation. After supporting 40 youths preparing for independence in the first phase, the second phase will focus on 34 young caregivers who nurse family members and support their households.

Shinhan Financial signs MOU with health ministry to expand support for families in crisis
Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation said on March 25 it held a donation ceremony for the “Just Dream” initiative and signed a business agreement to link support for families in crisis. The event took place on March 24 in Seoul with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Community Chest of Korea and the Korea Council on Social Welfare. Shinhan plans to link about 1,000 households identified through Just Dream to its crisis-family support programme.

KRX donates 50 million won to crime victims in Busan
Korea Exchange is providing 50 million won to help vulnerable people in the Busan area who have been affected by crime. The exchange held a donation ceremony on Feb. 27 at the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency and delivered the funds to the Busan Community Chest of Korea. The programme aims to help those facing financial and psychological difficulties, offering support such as living and medical expenses.
