[DigitalToday reporter Hojeong Lee] Shift Up said on Jan. 15 it joined a neighbourhood-sharing effort on Jan. 14 by donating blankets worth 5 million won to help vulnerable people in the local community.

The support was part of the '2026 Hope Ondol Warm Winter' campaign promoted by the Seoul government and the Community Chest of Korea to help households in need in the area get through the winter. Shift Up has been joining community contribution campaigns near Seocho-gu, where its office building is located. On the hottest days of 2025, it supported meals of chicken and ginseng soup for local elderly residents, and it previously delivered meat sets for vulnerable groups ahead of Chuseok.

A Shift Up official said, "We joined this campaign in hopes of being a small help to neighbours spending a cold winter," and added, "We will continue to take part in various sharing activities as a company that fulfills its social responsibility."
