Woori Financial to support young people entering society with 3 billion won

Woori Financial Group will provide 3 billion won over three years to support young people who face difficulties entering society, including those preparing for independent living and socially isolated youth. Woori signed an MOU on Sept. 22 in central Seoul with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Community Chest of Korea to 추진 the Youth S.T.E.P programme, the first project under the ministry-led public-private initiative “Connection for All.”

Smilegate Hope Studio runs \'Digital Creative Explorers\' program in Daegu

Smilegate Hope Studio will run an AI-based creative education program for children and teenagers in Daegu. The group said it will hold the \'Let\'s Play! Digital Creative Explorers\' initiative at 10 local child centers in Daegu\'s Seo-gu and Nam-gu districts and in Gunwi County. A total of 113 people will take part, including 93 young participants and 20 youth mentors. The eight-week program runs from the fourth week of September to late November.

Choi Tae-won appeals non-indictment in defamation case involving No So-young\'s lawyer

SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won appealed prosecutors\' decision not to indict a lawyer representing No So-young over remarks that Choi spent more than 100 billion won on Kim Hee-young since 2015. Prosecutors cited insufficient evidence for defamation and said the remarks had some basis. Choi\'s side said the decision did not confirm the figures as fact and argued the actual amount spent as living expenses with Kim was about 2 billion won, with larger figures stemming from improperly aggregated expenditures.
