Netmarble to offer hands-on demos of three new titles at TGS 2026
Netmarble will unveil hands-on demos and stage programmes for three new games it plans to showcase at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The company opened dedicated websites for Shangri-La Frontier: Seven Strongest Species, Solo Leveling: Karma and Pearl in Blue, and will release details on demo content, stage events and on-site activities ahead of the show. The line-up includes talk shows with voice actors, cosplay events and live-streamed competitions.

Whistle expands parking enforcement alert service to 7 cities and counties in North Jeolla
Mobility platform Whistle will start a parking enforcement alert service in Buan County, North Jeolla, the company said on Thursday. With the addition, Whistle said its coverage in the province will expand to a total of seven cities and counties, including Namwon, Iksan, Jinan, Gunsan, Wanju and Gochang. Users can receive free alerts via app push notifications or KakaoTalk messages when CCTV captures their vehicles in enforcement zones.

Samsung Electronics recovers palladium from semiconductor waste, reuses it for PCB materials
Samsung Electronics said on Thursday it had obtained a cumulative 38 approvals under Korea's circular resource recognition system as of August this year. The system allows certain waste that meets legal standards to be used as raw materials without waste-related regulation. Samsung said it cut waste by 6,859 tonnes a year as of 2025. It said it is recycling items including wafer trays, defective wafers and diamond disks, recovering palladium for printed circuit board materials.
