Galaxy S26 Ultra: 10 key upgrades
Key changes are coming into focus for Samsung Electronics' next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, expected to be unveiled in the first half of 2026. A source cited by PhoneArena points to upgrades across the display, camera system, performance and charging. The device is tipped to use a more efficient M14 OLED panel, add an integrated privacy screen, widen camera apertures, improve video controls in One UI 8.5, support up to 60W charging and slim down despite a larger battery.

An unidentified cryptocurrency whale that put a large sum into Ethereum and suffered losses of tens of millions of dollars has recently moved assets into gold, drawing market attention. On-chain data shows the address bought 31,005 ETH for about $110 million, then sold most for $92.19 million, locking in an $18 million loss. The wallet later bought Tether Gold (XAUT) and now holds mostly USDT, USDC and XAUT.

CEO Jung Sang-hyuk outlined five strategic directions, including productive finance, customer-centric solutions, effective AX and DX, stronger innovation momentum and sustainable trust, and stressed stronger protection of customer information.
