Hekto Innovation, an IT-based information services company, posted its strongest results on record.
Hekto Innovation on Tuesday disclosed its 2025 results in a notice convening a shareholders meeting. A filing showed the company posted consolidated revenue of 375.8 billion won and operating profit of 50.2 billion won. That was up 17.6 percent and 2.7 percent from a year earlier, with both revenue and operating profit hitting record highs for a second straight year.
The company said it posted record revenue across all business segments, including IT services, fintech and healthcare. It said the healthcare business grew 40.4 percent from a year earlier, leading the strong performance. The company said the relatively modest operating profit growth versus revenue growth reflected strategic investment in new businesses to drive future sales, and it forecast profitability would improve once investment and infrastructure building for new global business initiatives are completed.
Last year, Hekto Innovation said it strengthened its medium- to long-term growth foundation by securing new growth engines related to stablecoins on the back of record revenue. In September, it acquired blockchain wallet infrastructure company Hekto Wallet One, formalising its entry into the stablecoin market and internalising wallet technology, a gateway to the digital asset ecosystem.
Hekto Innovation is currently participating in the public testnet of Arc, a stablecoin-focused blockchain mainnet run by USDC issuer Circle, as the only domestic partner in the wallet sector.
Hekto Innovation said it will accelerate its entry into global markets this year by building a stablecoin-centred digital wallet ecosystem. It said the core is to build an ecosystem in which payment, remittance and platform services operate within the wallet, beyond simple storage functions. It said it plans to link customer data across wallet, payment and platform services to provide differentiated convenience to global users and create a strong lock-in effect to rapidly expand its influence in global markets. It said it will sequentially disclose specific business models and profit plans for its wallet service.
The shareholders meeting agenda also includes a plan to pay a cash dividend of 500 won per share. Hekto Innovation has strengthened shareholder returns by paying year-end cash dividends every year since listing on the KOSDAQ. In 2024, it announced a three-year shareholder return plan that included a dividend payout ratio of at least 25 percent and regular cancellation of treasury shares.
The company stressed that it has been recognised for financial soundness and growth potential, including being included in various exchange-traded funds (ETFs) such as dividend ETFs.
Hekto Innovation CEO Hyun-chul Lee (이현철) said, "This year, Hekto Innovation will move to pre-empt the infrastructure of the global stablecoin market based on the security and authentication technology and service know-how the company possesses." He said, "We will provide wallet infrastructure, a key gateway to the digital asset ecosystem, safely and conveniently, while maximising business synergies with group affiliates such as Hekto Wallet One and Hekto Financial to raise corporate value."
