Automation AI spreads as OpenAI and Anthropic next-generation models take shape

Anthropic\'s Claude sees paid subscribers surge, more than double this year
Anthropic\'s AI service Claude is rapidly expanding paid subscriptions in the U.S. consumer market, an analysis showed. Consumer transaction analytics firm Indagari, citing anonymised credit-card data from about 28 million Americans, found paid subscribers hit a record high this year. An Anthropic spokesperson confirmed paid subscribers have more than doubled. Growth was strongest between January and February, with February re-subscriptions also at a record.
