KOSPI reclaims 8,100 as foreigners turn net buyers for first time in 24 sessions
South Korea\'s KOSPI rose more than 4 percent on June 12 to reclaim the 8,100 level, supported by gains in U.S. stocks and strength in semiconductor shares. Foreign investors turned net buyers for the first time in 24 sessions since May 7, while institutions also bought. The Kosdaq climbed more than 3 percent to finish above 1,000. The won weakened slightly against the dollar.

Six information security international standards finally approved, Korea speeds push to lead AI, 6G security standards
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said 6 international standards and 2 technical reports proposed by Korea were finally approved at an ITU-T SG17 meeting in Geneva held from June 1 to 10. It said 14 new standardisation items were also approved and 7 international standards were pre-adopted. The approved standards include software supply chain security threats and security guidelines for digital collection services using distributed ledger technology.

Specialized unveils new Turbo Levo 4 X electric mountain bike with cargo racks
Specialized has unveiled the Turbo Levo 4 X, a full-suspension electric mountain bike that combines off-road performance with cargo-carrying capability. Based on the Turbo Levo 4, it integrates front and rear cargo racks aimed at electric overlanding demand. It uses an S-Works 3.1 mid-drive motor rated at 850W and 111Nm, with an 840Wh battery for up to 4.4 hours. The bike weighs about 27.25 kg and is priced at $11,999.
