KT held 'K-PATH 2026' on Monday at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and revealed major artificial intelligence transition (AX) collaboration cases with AI startups.

About 200 people attended the event, including companies previously selected for K-PATH, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud and Hyundai Motor.

K-PATH is a programme that creates AX commercialisation opportunities through joint projects with promising AI startups. KT has selected startups every year since 2024 and has continued business cooperation with a total of 56 companies so far.

KT introduced collaboration results that combine startups' specialised technologies with its own business and technology capabilities. It presented collaboration models focused on moving beyond technology verification to actual commercialisation.

In the physical AI field, it shared technologies that Dyme Technology and Threei are preparing to commercialise. Dyme Technology is developing a factory operation service that combines integrated robot control and a digital twin. Threei is developing a public social overhead capital (SOC) management service that automates everything from detecting facility abnormalities to deploying robots and filming, and AI-based interpretation.

In the agentic AI field, collaboration cases involving Psionic AI and Dalpa were introduced. Psionic AI is verifying the feasibility of applying an AI agent that identifies network outage causes and proposes response measures to KT's network operations. Dalpa is developing a solution that uses AI to analyse drama scripts and proposals and support content planning and investment. KT plans to apply it to the group's media and content businesses.

KT also introduced support measures for startups' growth and business expansion. It provided guidance on startup support programmes from global IT companies such as AWS and Google Cloud. It also arranged business meetings with venture and industry officials to explore fundraising and new business opportunities.

Park Sang-won (박상원), executive vice president and head of KT's AX Business Division, said it will create tangible commercialisation results by linking promising AI startups' technologies with KT's business capabilities. He said it will develop AX demand across various industries into new business opportunities and expand an AX ecosystem that can grow together with domestic AI companies.
