NHN Dooray supplies collaboration tool to Ulsan education office

NHN Dooray said on Monday it supplied its all-in-one collaboration tool Dooray to the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education. The office has operated Dooray under the name USEUP since July 1. The company said it was the first case of a provincial education office adopting a software-as-a-service-based collaboration tool. The office aims to streamline reporting and cut printed documents to build a paperless education administration environment.

Post office insurance app enables Silson24 claims to simplify insurance payouts

Customers enrolled in post office indemnity insurance will be able to use the Silson24 service through the Post Office Insurance mobile application. The Ministry of Science and ICT\'s Korea Post said it will link Silson24, a service that simplifies indemnity insurance claims, with the app. Silson24 allows customers to claim payouts by having medical expense documents automatically sent to insurers without obtaining them from hospitals or pharmacies.

Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix DRAM operating margin nears 80 percent as memory boom holds firm

Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are expected to post record quarterly results as their combined second-quarter operating profit nears 150 trillion won. Samsung reported preliminary operating profit of 89.4 trillion won, while SK Hynix is seen earning in the 60 trillion won range. Analysts estimate most of Samsung’s profit came from memory despite losses in non-memory units and large bonus provisions. Brokers expect memory supply tightness, HBM demand and AI-driven growth to support results.
