Samsung Electronics will unveil a new model in the Galaxy S26 series.
On Aug. 20, Samsung Electronics said in its newsroom it will hold a “Samsung Galaxy Event” at 9 p.m. on Aug. 27 and unveil a new product in the Galaxy S26 series.
The industry expects the Galaxy S26 Fan Edition (FE) model to be revealed that day. The FE line carries over key features and design from flagship models while adjusting some specifications to improve price competitiveness.
A roundup of leaked information so far suggests the Galaxy S26 FE will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and support a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The mobile application processor is expected to be Samsung Electronics’ Exynos 2500, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
The camera is said to include a 50-megapixel camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. Battery capacity is expected to be 4,900 mAh, about the same as the previous model.
Samsung Electronics is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 FE that day and then officially launch it in September.
