Nota, a company specialising in technology to make artificial intelligence (AI) models lighter, said on Sunday it has been added consecutively to three major South Korean exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The ETFs are TIME KOSDAQ Active, KoAct AI Infrastructure Active and TIGER Internet TOP10. Nota stressed it was added at the same time to three ETFs with different characteristics, including growth large-cap stocks, AI infrastructure and semiconductors, and internet and platforms.
It cited the reasons for the inclusion as its technological capabilities in on-device AI, expanding sales visibility and structural growth potential within the AI and semiconductor software industry.
Nota is expanding cooperation with global semiconductor companies, including by supplying AI optimisation technology for Samsung Electronics' next-generation mobile application processor Exynos 2600 and FuriosaAI's Renegade. In January, it secured an order backlog worth 5 billion won, about 40 percent of last year's annual revenue.
Chae Myung-soo (채명수), Nota's chief executive, said, "The inclusion in three ETFs is the result of recognition of our on-device AI technology and growth potential." He added, "We will expand the areas of application from mobile and edge to industrial sites and stand out in the physical AI market."
