Job seekers remain interested in remote work but remote job postings down 65 percent in four years

JobKorea said an analysis of integrated search terms and job-posting data over the past six years showed job seekers’ interest in remote work has remained steady, while postings offering remote work fell after peaking in 2022 and then turned upward again this year. From January to September, such postings were 65.5 percent lower than in the same period of 2022, and postings with \"remote\" in the title fell 71.9 percent.

Kiwoom Securities introduces conversational AI search to MTS

Kiwoom Securities said on Thursday it will launch a conversational integrated AI search service for its mobile trading system. The service can be used through the MTS integrated search and responds to natural-language questions even when users do not know exact menu names. It routes process-related queries to an AI operations chatbot and investment or financial product questions to an AI investment chatbot. Multiple AI agents handle tasks such as menu guidance, price quotes and 상담 connection.

Pay-TV crisis could shake K-content investment and distribution, calls grow for regulatory overhaul

Experts warned that a weakening pay-TV industry could undermine investment in and distribution of K-content, calling for a redefinition of pay-TV’s role as core media infrastructure. At a Seoul seminar, scholars urged shifting regulation from operator-based rules to service-based oversight, expanding autonomy over pricing, products and channel lineups, and strengthening post-hoc enforcement for user protection and fair competition. Speakers also proposed reforms to licensing, mandatory channels and advertising rules.
