[Digital Today reporter Oh Sang-yeop (오상엽)] Kiwoom Securities said on Thursday it will launch a conversational integrated "AI search" service.

AI search will be available through the integrated search function on Kiwoom Securities’ mobile trading system (MTS). Users can ask questions in natural language without knowing the exact menu name. The AI identifies the intent and guides users to the needed functions and information.

Questions about work procedures are routed to an AI operations chatbot, while questions about investment information or financial products are routed to an AI investment chatbot. It is designed to move users directly to the next step they need, rather than merely listing search results.

AI search applies multiple AI agents that divide roles such as menu guidance, price quote lookup and connecting to 상담. When a question comes in, a coordinating AI selects an agent that fits the question type and provides an answer.

Users can also check information on stocks of interest through natural-language search. Entering "S Electronics" shows the current price and price change rate immediately. Entering multiple stocks allows comparisons on one screen. Stocks that support chat functions can also be linked to real-time chat.

Kiwoom Securities’ character "Kiwooma" will provide service guidance.

A Kiwoom Securities official said, "The key is that we added conversational AI to the existing integrated search so users can find the information and services they need even if they do not know the menu name." The official added, "We will develop it into a service that goes beyond showing search results and connects users to their next action."
