Apple faces iPhone Fold design controversy over Face ID removal

Apple is pursuing an iPhone Fold design that removes Face ID to maximize an ultra-thin build, while adding a dedicated physical camera control button to improve usability. PhoneArena reported Apple is focusing on hardware changes to address internal space constraints and enable intuitive one-handed camera control on a large display. Leaked specifications suggest the device could be thinner than the iPhone Air when unfolded, making it difficult to fit the Face ID module.
