Bitcoin keeps $67,000 target; five variables to watch this week
Bitcoin is holding a key support zone in the $63,000 range, keeping hopes alive for a short-term rebound. Traders are watching whether it can push into the $65,000 to $67,000 area and reclaim resistance around $68,500. Some analysts caution that a broader bearish phase may be under way. Rising U.S.-Iran war tensions, a jump in oil prices and rate concerns add pressure, while weak spot demand remains a key constraint despite some ETF inflows.

Bitcoin holds near $64,000 as Middle East tensions lift spot ETF inflows
Bitcoin is moving sideways in the $63,000 to $64,000 range amid the fallout from U.S. strikes on Iran and Washington-led tensions with China. Risk assets fell across Asia and U.S. stock futures pointed lower, while oil neared $79 a barrel. In Washington, Donald Trump released classified information and claimed China obtained 220 million voter records, which China’s embassy denied. Spot bitcoin ETF flows turned positive, led by BlackRock’s IBIT.

Wintermute said bitcoin’s ability to hold key support, a shift back to net inflows into U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs, and the market’s absorption of large sales by Strategy point to a short-term bottoming process. It added that sustained inflows and macro stability still need confirmation.
