Song Gi-heon vows to help South Korea lead AI medical innovation
Song Gi-heon (송기헌), chair of the National Assembly’s Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, said he would work to help South Korea become a leading country in AI-driven medical innovation. Speaking at a forum in Seoul, he highlighted Wonju’s accumulated data and competitiveness in medical devices and healthcare. Lawmakers Han Jun-ho and Kim Sun-min attended. They discussed the growing importance of science and technology and the need for government involvement in building the ecosystem.

Song Gi-heon elected chair of science, ICT and broadcasting committee for second half
South Korea\'s National Assembly elected three-term Democratic Party lawmaker Song Gi-heon as chair of the Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee for the second half of the 22nd parliament. Song said he would work hard to deliver results on science and technology and on broadcasting issues. The assembly voted on 11 standing committee chair appointments as 167 lawmakers from the governing bloc participated, while the People Power Party walked out in protest.

Second KMSL Medical League ends with Chung-Ang University pharmacy win, Seoul National University medicine runner-up
The second Korea Medical Soccer League (KMSL) tournament for aspiring medical professionals ended with Chung-Ang University College of Pharmacy winning the title. The event, hosted by Medical Today and run by the Jecheon City Football Association, drew 18 teams from medical, dental, oriental medicine and pharmacy schools nationwide. Chung-Ang beat Seoul National University College of Medicine 4-2 on penalties after a 0-0 draw. The winners received 2,000,000 won.
