Nvidia unveils Ising open-source quantum AI models to tackle errors

Nvidia has unveiled an open-source artificial intelligence model family called Ising to calibrate quantum computers and correct errors. The company aims to use AI to address key bottlenecks that have held back commercial quantum computing. It chose decoding and calibration as initial applications. Ising includes an error-correction decoding model and a calibration model that automates ongoing tuning work. Nvidia also released guides, training data and Nvidia NIM microservices.

H Company unveils Holo3 task-execution AI agent that reads screens and completes clicks and inputs

French AI startup H Company has unveiled Holo3, an AI model designed to read screen information and carry out actions such as clicking buttons, entering text and completing tasks across multiple apps. An open-source version, Holo3-35B-A3B, is available for free on Hugging Face. The model targets web, desktop and mobile environments and is trained with open-source and human-annotated data. H Company also disclosed benchmark results and access limits for API use.

Motif Technologies to hire developers for proprietary AI foundation model project

Motif Technologies, which is participating in the development of a proprietary AI foundation model, said on Sunday it will hold an open recruitment drive to advance development and expand its business. The hiring covers AI research engineers, applied AI engineers, and business development and operations staff. The company said it will provide benefits including flexible working hours, equipment support funds, health checkups, and 2 million won a year in welfare points.
