Nvidia targets AI data centre war beyond GPU fight
Nvidia\'s AI edge is expanding beyond the performance and supply of its GPUs to system capabilities that coordinate entire data centres, an assessment says. As AI computing scales to gigawatt levels, efficiently linking memory, storage, networks and data flows is becoming critical to performance and cost. The shift is reflected in Nvidia’s strategy to build integrated data centre systems, including its next-generation Vera Rubin architecture combining GPUs, CPUs, accelerators, storage and networking racks.
