Companies are linking data to local government event operations, shuttle services and foreign tourist group travel. TMAP Mobility is applying an AI festival-movement solution to a horticulture expo, while Kakao T Shuttle is adding event routes. Socar is running discounts in depopulating areas, and Whistle is expanding parking enforcement alerts.

TMAP overhauls home screen to strengthen map-based place search
Tmap Mobility has redesigned the TMAP app’s home screen by placing the map across the full screen and reorganising key service menus by category, it said on April 21. Users can now pull down the content area to use the map on the entire mobile display, with a search bar at the top. The app doubles automatically displayed place names, standardises place icons and shows detailed place information in one view.
