Altcoins outperform bitcoin after U.S. rate hike, analysis shows

Altcoins posted larger gains than bitcoin after a U.S. rate hike, an analysis showed. Binance Research said market advances in both stocks and cryptocurrencies were concentrated in certain sectors as rising real yields drove U.S. Treasury moves. It said the median gain of 194 crypto assets was 21 percent, beating bitcoin and ether. In the past week, crypto prices weakened, while flows into stock-linked products favored semiconductors and other sectors.

XRP faces late-October test, may drop to $1.24 if it fails to clear $1.45

XRP is under short-term downside pressure ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve\'s late-October rate decision and Ripple\'s annual Swell 2026 event. It is attempting to rebound around $1.40, but selling pressure remains dominant on the four-hour chart. The key resistance area is $1.4450 to $1.4510. If buyers fail to break through, analysts see risks of renewed declines toward $1.3812, then $1.3189, and potentially $1.2468.

Shinhan Financial groups Indonesia bank, card and securities units under business holding company

Shinhan Financial Group has reorganised its governance in Indonesia by moving to a business holding company structure that groups its card and securities affiliates around its local bank. It converted Shinhan Indonesia Bank to serve as a business holding company and launched Shinhan Financial Group Indonesia. The overhaul follows an Indonesian requirement to establish financial holding companies. Shinhan also signed an agreement with Indonesia’s Sinar Mas group to cooperate in corporate and supply chain finance.
