Worksphere signs MOU with Seoul MIM Center to support independence for borderline intelligence youth

AI and data-based HR tech platform Worksphere said on April 14 it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Lifelong Education Support Center for People with Borderline Intelligence, known as the MIM Center, to support the independence of borderline intelligence youth. Worksphere will provide tailored education and work experience opportunities and expand a social resource network with the center. The two sides also plan broader cooperation and will join a 2026 work experience project as a new operator.

Naver, Kakao upgrade map services to counter Google Maps push with \'experience data\'

Naver and Kakao are upgrading their map services as the government conditionally approved Google’s export of high-precision map data from South Korea. Naver has reintroduced star ratings on Naver Place with anti-abuse measures and limited initial visibility. KakaoMap is prioritising verified reviews and added features to its real-time friend location sharing service. Both are seeking to secure user “experience data” to sharpen ads and recommendations and expand future uses.

KakaoBank joins small business support expo, promotes relief account

KakaoBank said on March 27 it is taking part in the 2026 Small Business Support Expo at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, introducing Seoul’s financial support product for small business owners, the Ahnshim Account. The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation are hosting the event, which offers financial counselling and other programmes. KakaoBank will run a booth and provide an on-site application experience. It is the only bank participating in all three Ahnshim Account programmes.
