IBK Industrial Bank of Korea is recruiting companies to take part in a demo day aimed at discovering AX-based fintech firms, together with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Fintech Lab.
The bank said on Sunday it is seeking participants for the “2026 Seoul Fintech Week Demo Day with IBK Industrial Bank of Korea,” to be held on Oct. 27 at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido.
The demo day is an official program of “Seoul Fintech Week 2026,” which is being held under the theme of “AX-based digital finance transformation.” It was arranged to discover AX-based fintech firms and provide opportunities to attract investment and cooperate on business.
Eligible applicants include Seoul-based fintech startups that are within 7 years of founding and companies in new business fields that are within 10 years of founding under the Act on Support for Small and Medium Enterprise Establishment. Applications can be submitted from Sunday through Aug. 30 via the Startup Plus website.
A total of 12 fintech firms will be selected through screening. The chosen firms will take part in the main demo day after completing an “IR advancement support program.”
Three outstanding companies will receive the “IBK Special Award,” the “Seoul Fintech Innovation Award” and the “Popularity Award,” respectively. The IBK Special Award winner will receive 20 million won in research and development support funds, selection for “IBK 1st LAB,” and opportunities for PoC collaboration.
The Seoul Fintech Innovation Award winner will receive 10 million won in commercialisation support funds and an opportunity to move into Seoul Fintech Lab, while the Popularity Award winner will receive 5 million won in commercialisation support funds and a Seoul Fintech Lab membership opportunity.
