AI cloud services company Clion said on Tuesday it has completed Seoul Metropolitan Government's project to build a "generative AI-based Chatbot 2.0".
The project was pushed to implement "AI administrative innovation through converting administrative services to AI", one of seven core strategic tasks under Seoul's "Seoul AI Vision". As the lead company, Clion carried out the full process for about 6 months from September last year, including building GPU infrastructure, tuning models based on Seoul's data and developing RAG-based AI services.
Clion applied its RAG performance evaluation solution, REX (RAG Evaluation eXpert), to improve response accuracy for Seoul's internal administrative chatbot based on a closed network with enhanced security and for a chatbot linked to Seoul's public service "Seoul톡".
As a result, Seoul's Chatbot 2.0 achieved a higher response level with an accuracy score of more than 90 points, it said. The company also stressed that it secured service quality that both citizens and public officials can trust by effectively controlling hallucination, a key task for generative AI services.
Clion CEO Yoonji Park (박윤지) said, "As the lead company for Seoul's AI administrative innovation project, it is meaningful that we have implemented a high-performance AI service that both citizens and public officials can trust." She added, "I expect this will be an important precedent proving that objective performance verification through specialist solutions such as REX is a key factor that determines the success of public AI services."
