LG to use Nvidia AI for humanoid, to unveil bipedal robot in 2027 Q1
LG will integrate Nvidia artificial intelligence technology into its humanoid robot development and plans to unveil a next-generation bipedal humanoid in the first quarter of next year. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding at Nvidia headquarters in Santa Clara, California. The robot will use Nvidia’s Jetson Thor along with Isaac GR00T and the Halos for Robotics safety system. The partnership also covers robot data and AI factory projects, plus mobility platforms based on Nvidia Drive Hyperion.

LG CNS first-half revenue 2.8358 trillion won; AI, cloud nearly 60 percent
LG CNS said on Thursday it posted first-half revenue of 2.8358 trillion won and operating profit of 222.1 billion won, up 6.1 percent and 1.1 percent from a year earlier. AI and cloud revenue rose 5.1 percent to 1.6714 trillion won, about 59 percent of total sales. Second-quarter revenue increased 4.2 percent, while operating profit fell 9.2 percent.

LG CNS to pursue humanoid deployment at LX Pantos Cheongna logistics center
LG CNS said on June 11 it signed a memorandum of understanding with logistics company LX Pantos to build a robot-based next-generation smart logistics system. The companies plan to build an automation system at LX Pantos\' Mega Wise Cheongna logistics center, linking humanoid and shuttle robots and verifying end-to-end automation from picking to sorting and shipment. They will use LG CNS platforms for robot training and operations and deploy robots from Dexmate and LG CNS.
