Nexth logs Q2 operating loss of 5.3 billion won; net profit turns positive on OneStore acquisition gain
Nexth posted a second-quarter operating loss of 5.3 billion won as revenue fell 37.8 percent from a year earlier to 5.8 billion won, preliminary results showed. Net profit returned to the black at 8.1 billion won, reflecting a 15.7 billion won one-off gain from buying an 89.03 percent stake in OneStore for 62.6 billion won. Nexth said it will expand its AI and blockchain-based platform ecosystem in the second half.

Nexthrus unveils 9 new titles joining ONE onchain platform for rollout this year
Nexthrus on Monday unveiled a lineup of nine new games to be onboarded to its onchain game platform ONE and said it will roll them out in stages within the year. The lineup spans genres including MMORPGs, strategy simulations, collection RPGs and trading card games. The first release will be the Web3 strategy game Frost Kingdom this month under exclusive publishing. Nexthrus also plans to switch its mainnet Cross to Onechain and rebrand its native token Cross as ONE.

Nexth CEO Jang Hyun-kook seeks OneStore merger, centers on payments platform
Jang Hyun-kook (장현국), CEO of Nexth, set out a plan to merge Nexth and OneStore and build a web shop-based payments platform after completing the OneStore acquisition. He said Nexth plans to merge the two companies as soon as possible after a practical review. Nexth disclosed it completed payment for 20,247,990 OneStore shares, equal to 89.03 percent, for 62.6 billion won.
