Nexters expanded the number of participants in network verification by adding Mblock Company to its Onechain validators.

Nexters said on Sept. 16 that Mblock Company joined as a Onechain validator.

Mblock is a blockchain-specialised subsidiary of Maeil Business Newspaper Media Group. It operates verification nodes and runs digital-asset information and content businesses. It has participated as a validator on various blockchain networks, including Kaia, XPLA, ZetaChain and Injective.

With the addition, Mblock will run its own node infrastructure and take part in block production, transaction verification, and network security and maintenance for Onechain Mainnet 2.0.

Validators are entities that verify transactions on a blockchain network and participate in creating new blocks. Onechain Mainnet 2.0, dubbed "Breakpoint", operates under a proof-of-stake authority (PoSA) model in which validators are responsible for block production.

Validators meet certain staking requirements, keep nodes running at all times, and take part in network operations.

Previously, Onechain validators included H Lab, CertiK and OneStore. Nexters plans to continue expanding validator participation.
