Nexthrus said on July 7 it has unveiled nine new games to be onboarded to its onchain game platform ONE and will roll them out in stages within the year.
The lineup spans genres including massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs), strategy simulation games (SLG), collection RPGs and trading card games (TCG). The company plans to secure titles ranging from established intellectual property to new games incorporating artificial intelligence, with the aim of covering all user groups. The first title will be the Web3 SLG Frost Kingdom, in which players grow by combining buildings and troops, to be released this month under exclusive publishing.
MMORPGs sit at the center of the lineup. BPMG's RappelzM carries over the original PC game, featuring high freedom of progression and large-scale battles. Report Games' AstelliaM implements strategic combat based on combinations of more than 60 summoned creatures and deck builds across 5 classes: knight, assassin, archer, scholar and mage.
Also set for onboarding are Metin: Prelude to Ruin by Ceesi Soft, which reworks Webzen's original released in 2000 for mobile, and the global version of IMC Games' Tree of SaviorM, which features fairy-tale-style graphics.
ElemeMtal, developed by Holo Studio, is a strategy card game based on an elemental system. It features AI-based user-generated content (UGC) that lets users create card skins by entering text. Other titles joining include Gemini Seed, Canonization of the Gods and Chronicles of the Celestial Way.
Nexthrus also plans to switch its existing mainnet Cross to Onechain as part of an ecosystem overhaul and to rebrand its native token Cross as ONE.
Nexthrus Chief Executive Jang Hyun-kuk (장현국) said, "We will present high-quality games across diverse genres through the ONE platform." He added, "We will continue to expand content so that more games can meet users on a platform that spans from development to distribution."
