Waymo robotaxis begin operations at San Francisco International Airport
Waymo has received approval to operate robotaxis at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), TechCrunch reported. Waymo said in a blog post it will begin offering airport rides to selected passengers and plans to expand the service to all customers within months. Pickups and drop-offs will be at the SFO rental car center accessible by AirTrain. Waymo is also under NHTSA investigation over a recent Santa Monica crash involving a child.
