KT Cloud signs AI data centre infrastructure technology partnership with Vertiv

KT Cloud said on Tuesday it signed a next-generation AI data centre strategic technology partnership with global AI infrastructure firm Vertiv. The companies will jointly take part from the design stage of KT-led AI data centres and review compatibility among power infrastructure, liquid cooling and modular solutions in advance. They plan to design infrastructure optimised for high-density GPU environments and raise stability and efficiency during construction.

LG Uplus to verify AIDC liquid cooling technology with Korea Ecolab

LG Uplus will work with Korea Ecolab to develop operating standards for liquid cooling at AI data centres. The companies signed an MOU in Seoul on Oct. 27 to optimise operation of AI data centre cooling systems. They plan to verify stable operation of a Technology Cooling System Loop that circulates coolant between AI server racks and distribution units, analyse operating data and set optimal standards. They also plan to expand cooperation to predictive maintenance.

Schneider Electric unveils next-generation modular power solutions for AI data centres

Schneider Electric on Thursday unveiled its Prefabricated Power Modules and Power Skids, describing them as power solutions for AI data centres. The company said the new products, based on the latest reference jointly developed with Nvidia, can support building the required power infrastructure in as little as six months. A reference design for the GB300 NVL72 supports up to 142 kW per rack and includes integrated power management and liquid-cooling control.
