Satellite Tracker real-time map tracks locations of more than 30,000 satellites in orbit
A web-based map service called Satellite Tracker has launched to show in real time the current locations of more than 30,000 satellites orbiting Earth. It displays Starlink by default and lets users view each satellite’s position, orbit and identification details on one screen. The service also updates in real time and offers detailed information such as NORAD ID and international designators. Users can filter satellites by purpose, project, country and altitude.

Big Tech companies are accelerating efforts to use solar energy from space satellites for AI computing on Earth. Red Hat unveils Red Hat AI 3.4 with up to three times faster inference, expands space and auto ties
Red Hat announced new products and partnerships across enterprise AI platforms, space computing and software-defined vehicles at its annual Red Hat Summit 2026 conference on May 11. It highlighted the Red Hat AI 3.4 update, adding model service capabilities and speculative decoding to boost inference speed by up to three times. Red Hat also expanded cooperation with Nvidia, announced a deployment on an ISS edge micro data centre with Voyager Technologies, and unveiled a joint initiative with Nissan.
