KT links frontline ideas to AX projects through \'design clinic\' program

KT is running a hands-on support programme to connect workplace innovation ideas identified by employees to artificial intelligence transformation (AX) projects. The company said it operates an \'AX design clinic\' in which in-house AX experts and frontline staff analyse processes and pain points and design execution plans. The programme supports end-to-end work from analysis to AI agent and automation implementation and verification. KT said 122 ideas have been submitted from 15 internal organisations so far.

Shinhan Bank, Seocho-gu, Seoul credit guarantee foundation cooperate to support growth of AI, ICT firms

Shinhan Bank will work with Seoul\'s Seocho-gu district and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation to support AI and ICT companies in the Seocho area with financing, guarantees, consulting and investment links. The three parties signed a comprehensive agreement on Sept. 7. The plan covers support by growth stage, from identifying firms to credit guarantees, financial consultations, management consulting and investment connections. They also plan joint briefings, consultations, IR and training programmes.

G7 urges rapid preparations for quantum computing threat; bitcoin, ethereum also on alert

A G7 cybersecurity working group urged governments and companies to immediately begin shifting to post-quantum cryptography, warning that technology threatening existing public-key systems is advancing faster than expected. It highlighted the risk of attacks that harvest encrypted data now and decrypt it later. The EU has set timelines for migration. Bitcoin is considering BIP-360, while Ethereum plans broader upgrades. Larger post-quantum signatures could raise storage, bandwidth and transaction costs.
