JB Financial Group was named an IR excellence company for a second straight year after winning an excellence award at the 2026 Korea IR Awards hosted by the Korea IR Council.

JB Financial said on Sept. 21 it received the excellence award in the listed companies category at the 2026 Korea IR Awards ceremony held on Sept. 18 at Korea Exchange Market Square in Yeouido, Seoul.

The Korea IR Awards select companies that contribute to the development of capital markets through investor relations activities, based on recommendations and evaluations by institutional investors. JB Financial followed last year’s selection as an IR excellence company by winning this year’s excellence award.

JB Financial cited direct communication with investors by its management and an expansion of its shareholder return policy as key achievements.

JB Financial Chairman Ki-hong Kim (김기홍) has attended quarterly earnings conference calls since taking office in 2019 to answer questions from investors and analysts. It also holds an annual Capital Markets Day involving key executives and the board of directors.

It also strengthened its shareholder return policy. JB Financial raised its payout ratio target to 50 percent from its earlier plan and switched to equal quarterly dividends starting in the first quarter.

JB Financial has also been selected as a disclosure excellence company by the Korea Exchange and as an excellent company for an employee stock ownership award by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
