Hancom WITH to set up gold RWA joint venture in Dubai

Hancom WITH, which serves as a holding company for the Hancom Group, is setting up a joint venture in Dubai to expand its global gold real-world asset tokenisation business. The venture with UAE gold trader Al Dafra Al Gharbia Gold Trading (ADGT) and Cast Holdings will provide services from sourcing physical gold to issuing and redeeming on-chain tokens under a single entity. The partners also plan a compliance framework and third-party verification disclosures.

Hancom Group to sponsor second Hancom Literature Awards, adds youth and high school category

Hancom Group will sponsor the 2026 second Hancom Literature Awards, to be held to mark the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Hangeul Day. The event is hosted by the Hancom Literature Awards Promotion Committee and organised by the Korea Poetry Literature Association. The competition offers 60 million won in total prizes, with 30 million won for the grand prize winner in the integrated category. A new youth and high school category has been added.

Hancom Lifecare posts Q2 revenue of 55.1 billion won, operating profit of 7.6 billion won

Hancom Lifecare said on Thursday it posted preliminary consolidated second-quarter revenue of about 55.1 billion won and operating profit of about 7.6 billion won. Net profit was about 6.8 billion won. Revenue rose 103 percent from a year earlier and operating profit climbed 168 percent. Operating margin was 13.8 percent. The company said growth in both defence and fire-safety businesses supported results.
