HancomWITH, the holding company of the Hancom Group, said on Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with AI decision-making infrastructure company Connectorary to jointly develop an AI intelligent automatic document classification product.

The two companies plan to combine HancomWITH's DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) and data encryption technologies based on N2SF C/S/O (confidential, sensitive, open) classification with Connectorary's AI-based data classification and status management engine, Classification Studio. They aim to launch a product with compliance and security features.

The company said HancomWITH's DSPM technology supports identifying data assets within an organisation and assessing their security status based on N2SF C/S/O classification. It is also linked to Hancom xDB, a data encryption solution equipped with post-quantum cryptography (PQC) technology, enabling an integrated management system that runs from asset identification to encryption.

Connectorary's Classification Studio is an AI engine that structures unstructured data into semantic units and compares them with regulatory conditions before suggesting a C/S/O grade and the basis for its 판단. It also provides a function that continuously manages changes in grades as data and work environments change.

HancomWITH CEO Sang-yeop Song (송상엽) said, "As the shift to N2SF progresses, the importance of intelligent data security that understands and protects document context is growing."
