Alibaba unveils Qwen Intelligence to support agentic AI on smartphones
Alibaba Group on Sept. 28 unveiled Qwen Intelligence, a full-stack agentic AI solution designed to help smartphone makers build agentic AI functions into their devices. The company said smartphone maker HONOR is the first partner to adopt the platform, and the two are jointly developing specialized models and solutions for next-generation AI smartphones. Qwen Intelligence is set to debut on HONOR’s new Magic9 series and HONOR Robot Phone.

\'Crypto Mom\' Hester Peirce to leave SEC, resigns on Oct. 2
Hester Peirce, a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission commissioner known in the crypto industry as \'Crypto Mom,\' will step down on Oct. 2, according to a resignation letter she posted on social media. The letter submitted to the White House lists the effective date as Oct. 2. Peirce thanked the agency and reiterated her view that individuals should be able to make investment decisions within an appropriate regulatory framework.

Korea Post unveils commemorative stamp for 150th birth anniversary of Kim Gu
Korea Post, under the Ministry of Science and ICT, will issue 528,000 commemorative stamps on Aug. 28 to mark the 150th birth anniversary of independence activist Kim Gu. The stamp features a portrait of Kim taken in Chongqing, China in 1942 and includes a quote from his autobiography, \"Baekbeom Ilji\". A special postmark uses a line from \"My Wish\" in the book. Related displays are planned in Seoul.
