Wrtn Technologies, an AI service platform company, said on Tuesday it appointed Mirae Asset Securities as lead underwriter and NH Investment & Securities as joint underwriter for its initial public offering.

Wrtn plans to coordinate a detailed listing timetable and procedures with the underwriters, aiming to file for a preliminary listing review next year. It has worked on selecting underwriters after formally announcing its IPO push earlier this month.

Earlier, Wrtn raised 100 billion won in a Series C round in August. Total funding stands at about 230 billion won, and it was valued at more than 1 trillion won at the time.

Kim Jin-tae (김진태), head of the IPO division at Mirae Asset Securities, said, "Wrtn has grown rapidly in the AI services sector and has proven its market competitiveness." He added, "We will work to ensure a successful listing."

Lee Se-young (이세영), Wrtn's CEO, said, "We are confirming our competitiveness in overseas markets, such as overseas sales from global services exceeding domestic sales." He added, "We will make a leap to become a global AI company through the listing."
