Woori Financial Group's Woori Financial Future Foundation is running a campaign to honor the dedication of uniformed public servants who died or were injured in the line of duty.

The foundation said on June 5 it will launch the '2026 Woori Hero Remembrance Campaign' to mark June, the month of remembrance and patriotism.

The campaign was set up to remember and express gratitude to soldiers, police officers and firefighters who have devoted themselves to the country and the public.

The online campaign will run from June 5 to 30 on Woori Financial Group's official social media channels. If citizens leave stories and thank-you letters they want to share with uniformed heroes, selected entries will be produced as AI videos featuring the writers' actual voices.

The finished videos will be released to coincide with major commemorative days such as Armed Forces Day, Police Day and Firefighters' Day.

The offline campaign will be held on site at the Korea Memorial Festa, hosted by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, at Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul on June 6 and 7.

Choi Seong-seok (최성석), deputy head of the Woori Financial Future Foundation, said he hoped it would be an opportunity to reflect on the noble sacrifices of the heroes in society.
