Woori Bank, Woori Card and National Pension Service to support property management for people with dementia and developmental disabilities

Woori Bank and Woori Card will work with South Korea\'s National Pension Service to support a property management assistance service for users who have difficulty managing their own assets, including older people with dementia and people with developmental disabilities. Woori Bank said on Sept. 10 it signed a business agreement with Woori Card and the National Pension Service at the pension agency\'s Gangnam building in Seoul. Under the agreement, the bank will manage trust funds and offer dedicated products and preferential benefits, while Woori Card will link public trusts with card payments.

Kim Bong-jin says Tada incident left psychological barrier to innovation, calls for startup regulatory reform

Kim Bong-jin, founding chair of the Korea Startup Forum and founder of Baemin, said the Tada incident left entrepreneurs with a psychological barrier to building innovative services. Former and current forum chairs, marking the group’s 10th anniversary, called for improvements to the startup regulatory environment, including a shift to negative regulation and the creation of a fair, open market for competition. Kakao Mobility says Gangnam late-night autonomous driving data is competitive edge, to integrate E2E model this year

Kakao Mobility is shifting its autonomous driving development focus from collecting large volumes of driving data to selecting data from difficult situations, it said. Based on the data it has secured, the company plans to integrate perception and decision-making into a single end-to-end model within this year. An executive said the latest AI competition hinges on efficiently picking out hard data. The firm is classifying driving situations into five levels and prioritising rare edge-case data from higher levels.
