Salesforce introduces Partner FDE AI agent training program in South Korea for first time
Salesforce said on Monday it has introduced its Partner FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) program in South Korea for the first time to train AI agent specialists. The company held its first workshop in Seoul from Oct. 13 to 15 for 44 engineers and consultants from 11 local system integration and consulting partners. Participants trained on Agentforce and Slack, and reviewed data security and governance. Salesforce aims to train more than 100 experts by next year.

Why FDE teams should report to product, not sales
As tech companies expand forward deployed engineer (FDE) teams to target the enterprise AI market, audio AI company ElevenLabs stresses that FDE organisations should sit under product rather than sales. Co-founder and CEO Mati Staniszewski said FDEs must deeply understand the product roadmap, solve customer problems and expand the product in that direction. He said companies often miss the step of bringing expertise gained from integration work back into the product.
