Bitcoin spot ETFs have far to go despite rebound; June outflows hit record
U.S.-listed bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds posted net inflows for a second straight week, but the rebound remains limited. The past two weeks brought $273.1 million of net inflows, just 3.3 percent of the $8.2 billion that exited over the previous eight weeks. June outflows totalled about $4.5 billion, the largest monthly figure since the products launched in January 2024. Analysts remain divided over whether the move marks a trend shift.

Peter Brandt considers selling bitcoin to buy gold as BTC bottom calls resurface
Veteran trader Peter Brandt said he is considering selling part of his bitcoin holdings and moving the money into gold. He said gold is likely to show clear strength versus bitcoin, citing a gold-bitcoin ratio chart he presented. Brandt has recently warned traders not to rule out further declines and said a tradable bottom may not appear before October. He has also maintained a long-term bullish target for bitcoin in 2029.

HYPE spot ETF three-way race takes shape as Grayscale nears Nasdaq listing
Grayscale’s Hyperliquid (HYPE) spot exchange-traded fund is expected to list as early as this week. Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst James Seyffart said the annual sponsor fee for the Grayscale Hyperliquid Staking ETF was confirmed at 0.29 percent. The ticker is HYPG and it is preparing for a Nasdaq listing. Rival HYPE spot ETFs from Bitwise and 21Shares have already listed, with fees of 0.34 percent and 0.30 percent.
