Polaroid targets AI data centres with water use ad campaign

U.S. optics and photography maker Polaroid has launched an advertising campaign that directly targets the water use of AI data centres. The company is highlighting the environmental impact of data centres rather than criticising AI itself, while promoting the value of “analog” experiences. The campaign includes a billboard on Coney Island in Brooklyn and posts on Instagram carrying the same message. The issue has also drawn responses from OpenAI and Nvidia.

LG Electronics launches flamingo protection campaign with U.S. NWF

LG Electronics is continuing its endangered species protection campaign using a Times Square billboard in New York. The latest video is the ninth in the series and focuses on flamingos, highlighting difficulties in feeding due to water pollution and climate change. The company said it has been running the LG Endangered Species Series since 2024. It is also conducting an online campaign in cooperation with the National Wildlife Federation to share information needed to protect flamingos.

Krafton\'s PUBG Mobile holds Catch! Teenieping collaboration

Krafton said on Sunday that its PUBG Mobile will run a collaboration with SAMG Entertainment\'s intellectual property Catch! Teenieping through early May. Based on Season 6 \"Princess Catch! Teenieping\", the tie-up brings characters and world elements into in-game content. Players can join in-game events to earn rewards, including background music, profiles and frames, with additional events tied to theme and classic modes.
