HYBE achieved its largest annual revenue since its founding, supported by its “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy aimed at global markets and rapid growth in its concert business.

On Feb. 12, HYBE said its 2025 annual consolidated revenue was 2.65 trillion won and operating profit was 49.9 billion won.

Revenue rose 18 percent from a year earlier, setting a record high. Growth was driven by the global concert business. HYBE held a total of 279 global concerts last year and posted revenue of 763.9 billion won, up 69 percent from a year earlier. On that basis, it ranked fourth globally on Billboard’s Top Promoter chart, entering the “Big 4.”

Operating profit, however, fell about 73 percent from a year earlier. The result reflected upfront investment for mid- to long-term growth and costs to improve its business structure. In particular, it recognised about 200.0 billion won in impairment losses as non-operating profit and loss while reshaping its North America business structure into a label-centred intellectual property business model. The company explained that this was an accounting loss only, with no actual cash outflow, and that the effect of the upfront restructuring would lead to improved profitability from this year.

Results from expanding its global business model were also clear. Global girl group CatsEye, which debuted last year, topped 36.0 million monthly listeners on Spotify, proving its performance. HYBE plans to foster region-specific IP in markets such as Japan and Latin America this year as well to strengthen market dominance.

This year, it is seeking a quantum jump in results as BTS resumes full-group activities. BTS will release its fifth full-length album, “Arirang,” on March 20 and embark on its largest world tour ever, spanning 34 cities worldwide with 82 shows.

It also announced an unprecedented policy to enhance shareholder value. Through a shareholder return plan to be applied over the next three years, HYBE will introduce a “minimum dividend guarantee” for the first time among K-content companies. It will guarantee a minimum dividend of 500 won per share and plans to expand shareholder returns by changing the 기준 for dividend funding from net profit to free cash flow, which represents actual cash generation.
