Third-party device restores Apple CarPlay in GM EVs for $199
A third-party device has emerged to restore Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in General Motors electric vehicles where the features were removed. Startup EV Play has launched the EV Play LT for $199 and a higher-end EV Play Max for $425, offering additional streaming and console connectivity. Allen launches loop-mounted Smart Suction Go bike rack with pressure sensor
Bike rack maker Allen has launched the loop-mounted Smart Suction Go, which lets users check suction pressure in real time on a smartphone. The rack uses sensors in the suction cups to detect pressure and send data via Bluetooth, warning if the hold weakens. It adopts a two-piece design with separate front and rear sections for easier storage and transport. The rack supports multiple axle standards and is priced at $299.
