Elice Group supports youth AI education with Helpicode coding agent
Elice Group said on Oct. 27 it has successfully completed Make-thon, an agent AI hackathon under the 2026 AI Companion Project. The event, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organised by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, was held in Seoul and Daejeon on Sept. 19 to 20. A total of 161 students from 21 middle and high schools took part in 38 teams.

Younglimwon SoftLab sponsors 2026 capstone design and AI hackathon
Younglimwon SoftLab sponsored the 2026 Capstone Design and AI Hackathon competition held from Oct. 23 to 25 at Elysian Gangchon Resort in Gangwon Province. The event was hosted by the Korea Association of Computer Education and co-organised by project groups at several universities. About 100 students took part. Six of 20 teams used AI coding tools developed by Flextudio, a Younglimwon SoftLab subsidiary.

KT holds 2026 AID-X Day to showcase group AX innovation results
KT said on Oct. 15 it held 2026 AID-X Day to share AI transformation (AX) innovation results and technology development experience. The two-day event, held at KT’s Pangyo building from Oct. 14, combined the existing AID-X Demo Day and AX Tech Connect. It featured exhibits and presentation sessions across business, innovation, work and technology, along with an AI hackathon. KT said it aims to spread shared results across the group and accelerate its shift to an AX platform company.
