Megazone Soft, an affiliate of AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud, held Yogiyo’s first in-house AI hackathon, “2026 Great Imagination,” with delivery app Yogiyo and Google Cloud, it said on Wednesday.
The hackathon focused on having Yogiyo employees define real service and workplace problems using generative AI and implement solutions.
Megazone Soft provided technical support for the entire hackathon process with Google Cloud. It set up a pre-event environment so all participants could use Google’s enterprise AI model, Gemini Enterprise, for their tasks. It also provided onboarding training tailored to the level of understanding of both technical and non-technical roles.
Experts from Megazone Soft and Google Cloud joined as dedicated mentors for teams advancing to the finals, supporting regular online mentoring and in-depth offline consultations. A total of 43 teams participated, including developers as well as non-technical roles such as planning and design, and 57 ideas were submitted.
In the final round, Megazone Soft joined Yogiyo and Google in judging, evaluating business impact, creativity and feasibility.
The top prize went to “AI Menu Assistant,” which proposed AI-based menu improvements and image enhancement measures for restaurant owners. The excellence awards went to the “RPAI” team, which built a customer consultation agent, and the “Baigent” team, which proposed delivery operations optimisation measures. Yogiyo plans to pursue a contract with Megazone Soft to introduce Gemini Enterprise to apply major winning entries, including “AI Menu Assistant,” and plans to deploy them in services and workplaces within this year.
Jin Geon (진건), head of Google Cloud business at Megazone Soft, said Megazone Soft focused its AI engineering capabilities on mentoring, with an emphasis on helping Yogiyo employees maximise the potential of Google Gemini Enterprise during the hackathon. He said it would actively support the AI utilisation framework built at Yogiyo so it can lead to service innovation and improved operational efficiency.
