Kakao Games said on Tuesday it is providing employees with training on how to use artificial intelligence (AI) to strengthen its in-house AI transformation (AX) culture.

The training is conducted at the organisational level and discusses ways to apply AI in practice within teams. Employees with a strong understanding of the in-house work environment took part as instructors, delivering the training based on practical case studies.

The lectures consist of a curriculum covering "vibe coding" to produce outputs through AI conversations, "workflow automation design" to automate repetitive tasks, and practical training on building custom web applications to create tools directly.

Kakao Games plans to strengthen its in-house AX culture by conducting advanced AI training, holding sessions to share job-specific AI use cases and running an AI hackathon programme.

A Kakao Games official said the training focused on improving employees' access to AI and strengthening capabilities that can be applied in practice. The official said the company will support employees in using AI for work and spread an AX culture.

Kakao Games introduced the collaboration platform Google Workspace (GWS) in January to support the use of generative AI within a secure environment. It is running programmes including "Basic Generative AI Training" and "Data Literacy Training" by inviting outside instructors.
